Hi there, this is HFX!
HFX is about one thing: Living more. We bring together explorers, athletes, creators, and everyday originals who push boundaries in their own way. Through masterclasses, stories, and collaborations, we build tools and communities that make it easier to chase dreams, and hold fast when things get tough.

Frequently Asked Questions
HFX is a platform for ocean people, dreamers, and doers. We create masterclasses, original stories, and projects that strengthen both mental resilience and ocean culture.
HFX is also endorsed by the UN Ocean Decade, recognizing it as part of a global effort to build knowledge, resilience, and sustainable futures.
“Hold fast” comes from the old sailor’s tattoo. A reminder to stay steady when storms hit. For us, it’s a mindset: Skills, stories, and support systems that help you go after what matters most.
HFX is initiated by OCEANhab, a nonprofit working across generations and fields to increase life quality for both people and the ocean.
The campaign launching in fall 2025 is a collaboration with Passion for Ocean
We collaborate with world record holders, explorers, mental health experts, and young innovators.
No. The ocean is our anchor, but the skills and stories we share apply to every dream. Whether you want to cross an ocean, start a project, or simply live better, you’ll find tools and inspiration here.
We’re a nonprofit initiative. Our projects are supported through partnerships, memberships, and foundations. From 2026, we’ll also launch a supporter model to ensure free access to our core content while adding extra experiences for members.
We create spaces where dreams begin. From classroom pilots with Mental Helse Ungdom, to expeditions with explorers, and digital masterclasses with world-leading mentors. HFX connects inspiration with real tools.
Join a masterclass, follow our originals, or share your dream in the Dream Pool. You can also become a partner, mentor, or supporter - because the more people who back this, the bigger the impact.
